- “I’m a better cook than my wife.”
Riah loves to grill! He said if he wasn’t a lawyer, he would be spending his days grilling in Big Green Egg competitions. Riah got his Big Green Egg about 4 years ago for Christmas and has been obsessed ever since. He likes to fire up the grill after a tough day at the office. “Whenever I’m stressed out, I grill on my Egg. It’s a big stress reliever for me,” said Riah. His specialties include his rack of lamb and his beef back ribs.
- “I’m a huge foodie.”
When Riah’s not working, you can find him exploring Atlanta’s amazing food scene with his wife, Amina. Before their son was born, Riah and Amina would look through Atlanta’s Thrillist Magazine and try out all the new and trendy restaurants they could find. Some of his favorite Atlanta eats are at Kevin Rathbun Steak and South City Kitchen.
- “I know a lot about wine even though I don’t drink it.”
While Riah attended the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University in Houston, he worked at a wine bar where he picked up a vast knowledge of wine. “I don’t drink wine, but I know a lot about it,” he said.
